How to Get Started in 3 Steps

Join the Community

Click the download button to accept the invitation to the official NX Infinity Discord server. Verify your account to access channels.

Locate #download Channel

Head over to the #downloads or #announcements channel. Grab the pinned NX Infinity release build.

Extract & Play

Extract the archive into a dedicated folder. Run NX Infinity.exe, import your dumped keys/firmware, and enjoy! For legal guidance on dumping keys, see our DMCA & Legal Disclaimer or Keys FAQ.

Windows Setup Guide

• Full Extraction: Extract all contents from the ZIP into a clean folder (e.g. C:\Games\NX Infinity\). Do not run directly inside the archive.
• Keep Folders Together: Maintain the folder structure so that the NXAPI bridge and sub-core directories stay linked. Read more in our Multi-Core Guide.
• Prerequisites: Visual C++ Redistributable (x64) and modern Vulkan-capable graphics drivers (NVIDIA / AMD / Intel Arc).

Experimental SteamOS / Linux

Steam Deck & Linux Guide

• Desktop Mode: Switch Steam Deck into Desktop Mode, extract the ZIP into your preferred storage directory.
• Add to Steam: Add NX Infinity.exe as a Non-Steam Game in the desktop Steam client.
• Proton Compatibility: In Steam game properties, check "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool" and select Proton Experimental or GE-Proton.
• Vulkan Backend: Set your graphics API to Vulkan inside NX Infinity settings. See our Linux FAQ details.

Release Advisory & Known Issues

NX Infinity is continuously tested across Kenji, Ryujinx Canary, Eden, and Citron cores. Please note the following hardware-specific behaviors:

Super Mario Bros. Wonder: Experiencing visual artifacts and boot timing issues on specific hardware. A targeted hotfix is in active testing.

Save Backups: Please utilize the built-in Save Backup manager frequently before updating cores or switching between experimental builds.
